Today will be our last day of trading at Yorkshire Vintage Barn before we move to our new premises with larger workshop facilities just a few miles away

From Monday onwards we will be based Just off the one way system at the bottom of Jaw Bone Hill

Timekeeping a ‘saw’ point? (See what I did there?!)

One of a kind large saw blade clock made from recycled materials.

The table saw blade measures 70cm in diameter and the chain, which has been welded to the blade, still has an old padlock attached to it to give it that extra industrial look

The mechanism is a brand new high torque battery operated unit and the fingers are 12 and 10 inches long.

Would look great in any setting especially a man cave or workshop

Fully restored large Mahogany Chest of Drawers.

This piece has been stripped back the original wood removing all of the cup marks, stains and gouges to the drawer fronts made by the previous handles. (See before and after pics)

Finished with three coats of high gloss with wet and dry between each coat.

New brass, shell pull handles have been fitted as the originals had been replaced with plastic handles?!?!

The chest of drawers consists of two over three graduating drawers, all very deep and spacious, ranging from 11 inches to 8.5inches deep. All dovetailed and very solid.

The ornate top and front pillars to these drawers really add sophistication to the piece.

Beautiful light oak table with trestle style base again all solid oak

The table extends on quality ball bearing runners and the extension piece slots into place and secured with brass pins underneath

There at four chair and two carvers all solid oak to match the table. Beautiful bobbin turning to stretchers. The seats and back rests are a rich brown colour and in superb condition

Mid century Teak chest of drawers

Manufactured in July 1970 by Staverton who were a high end haberdashery and cabinet maker

Classic mid century design made from Teak. Solid carcass with Teak stretchers and dovetailed joints to drawers. Complete with original pull handles

Two over three graduating drawers, large and spacious

Came into Chester’s Workshop in a poor state, covered in Stains and scratches. The drawers have been taken back to bare wood and have had two applications of Teak oil and two coats of clear hard wearing high gloss. Last pictures are ‘before’
