My mother taught me to sew - a privilege I've discovered not many people have. After 16 years in both the secondary & primary classroom I've decided to follow my heart and teach children & adults to sew and craft instead of getting them to learn foreign languages :)
I'm now seeking to pass on the love of sewing, and the confidence to grab some fabric and turn it into something beautiful, to children and adults alike.

We had fun at the Easter holiday SewCrafty clubs. Sheep, chicks…and potatoes, obviously 🥔 😂😆 These kids’ creativity never ceases to amaze me!
We made our own unique fabrics using dissolvable fabric, scraps and going crrrrazy on the machines too. They always love trying out all the stitches. Made some pretty cool glasses if you ask me!

Half term holiday club fun…reversible fabric baskets and lots of fun had!

They all decided to add straps so they can hang them up in the car around the headrest…a handy bin, a sneaky sweet store, or just a multipurpose storage thing in the car. What would you use it for?! 🗑️ 🍬 🧺

A couple of complete beginners…you’d never have known they learnt so fast.

And so lovely watching them help each other…such a great bunch of kids I’m privileged to work with!
