We've had an influx of likes this week, not sure why but "Hello!" and Welcome!

It's all been quiet on the mask-making front with just a steady trickle of orders from return customers which is just so lovely for us; it's very humbling to know people liked our products so much they come back to us ♥️

The reduction in mask making has allowed time for me to complete some other craft projects as commissions for some of my friends so I thought I'd share some pics...

This gorgeous memory rabbit took me around 17 hours to complete this summer. After my friend, Abby, lost her much-loved uncle very suddenly, she shared some pictures of her Uncle Tevey and he just had the kindest eyes and face, I can't explain it but I was just drawn to offering to make a little tribute for her. Rabbit Tevey was created from one of his work polo shirts and the 'Flora' pattern from Cool Crafting. I really enjoyed salvaging and used as many features as I could from the original shirt including the buttons, embroidery and label and I even made rabbit a replica polo shirt of his own with his little name embroidered and the RR logo replicated. A labour of love as polo material proved a challenge, but well worth it to see Abby's face when gifted.♥️

I was then tasked with making a dog cave for a pal who owns a gaggle of Dashunds! Apparently they love to bury themselves and get cosy in a nest so I got some appropriate fabrics and made it up as I went along! Thankfully Shannon was very patient as it took me several months to work up to tackling the job and she wasn't even fazed when I told her it would need a double duvet to stuff it after even 6 pillows weren't up to the task 🤣 After delivering in August I received the best message from her this weekend which literally made my day ♥️

As for now...I have multiple knitting projects on the go and my sewing machine is feeling very unloved. Maybe I need to find some Christmas projects to keep Atilla running smoothly... 🎄

Can't believe it's been a year since we 'went public' with mum's mask making, although thankfully the designs improved a little from these prototype phases!

In the last year we've made hundreds of masks including a large donation to a local community centre. We've posted all across the country (and even internationally) and we've also dyed an entire batch of masks pink when our 'colour safe' cotton from our local fabric ship was not so colour safe...shhhh

Thankfully we're still here, still safe and still making masks to order, albeit orders are a little calmer than a year ago. We hope you've all stayed safe and healthy and that our masks provided a little bit of stylish comfort when the world was a strange old place.

As we await Boris's announcements on Monday one thing seems sure...masks are here to stay.

So we thought we'd share some of our recent orders, making the most of our Springtime fabrics and warmer colour palettes. Including a little and large set of doggy bandanas which were SO fun to make ❤

After a busy couple of weeks at the 'day job' a steady stream of orders came in this week; some replenishing their masks with new Spring styles and some lovely new customers too.

I've forgotten to photograph a couple of postal orders but here are some masks which were collected this week of butterflies and sleepy doormice peeking out of tulips.

As the environment starts to hit the news after being strewn with disposable masks it's nice to see our designs being worn, washed and used over and over without an impact on our local wildlife etc.

I'm cutting some new orders today so we shall share more photos this week of the orders heading out ❤

Goodness me...where did that go??? Isn't it October anymore?? After everything became Hallowe'en, Poppy and Christmas-shaped Momma K and I had some quality holiday time to take. And it's already all gone!! I feel like we completed Netflix AND every box of chocolate that ever existed...anyone else 'starting' tomorrow? 🥬🥦🥕🤣

We hope that you all had as good a Christmas as you were able to in these strange times and we have high hopes for 2021 for all of us🎉

We are back at the sewing table for anyone who might be fancying a fresh mask for a fresh year and have already taken our first few orders for 2021, thank you to those customers for your support ❤🧵

🎄Christmas 2020 masks 🎄

Ok let's do this! Welcome to our Christmas range of fabrics! Slightly delayed after a brief illness(not CV19) so big thanks to those who have been waiting for me to take our pictures etc ❤

All our masks are 100% cotton, double layered and home made to order in either adult or child size.

We have our Christmas fabrics at £5 per mask and we are also delighted to offer the exquisite Liberty Christmas fabrics at £7 per mask. Pictures are clearly priced for ease.

Collection/ delivery in Skegness, or can be posted for cost. Paypal fees to be added to final totals.
