Great day yesterday with Paula Perrins of Wychbury Designs. We learnt all about embroidering our handwriting. More details on the blog (link in bio). We didn't quite finish so I'll add the final postcards to the blog and Instagram as they come in.

Christmas social today with Jacob's Join lunch - aways good (shout out to whoever brought the leek and brie quiche - delicious!). We also had Christine's Christmas prizes in memory of one of our dearly loved members. We had a three way tie for first so the three prizes were split equally - £50 each to spend on stitchy goodies. All the entries were lovely - well done everyone. more details on the Blog, link in bio.

It's appeared! I kept looking out for this and finally found it. One of our members, Serena, took part in the Unstitched Coif project created by Toni Buckby. Volunteers embroidered the early 17th century unstitched pattern from the V&A's collection. Here's Serena's! You're famous now!

Had a chat with Skipton Step into Action at Yarndale. For their Christmas Appeal, SSIA are looking for homemade knitted items for children. They are particularly concentrating on the 8-16 age group and boys; that doesn't mean forget about the girls and younger children!
