She looks to explore classic millinery materials in their simple, unpretentious shapes and textures. Constantly perfecting craftsmanship to achieve hard-edged, precise borders between shapes and materials. Having graduated in Fine Arts, Filipa’s background in Art is

a prominent influence on her work as a milliner. Art movements, architecture, film and photography are a major inspiration for her creations. Filipa interned with acclaimed London based milliners and completed the HNC in Millinery at Kensington and Chelsea College.
