About Want Not CIC

At Want Not CIC, we believe in giving people—and things—a second chance. Based in South Tyneside, we use unwanted furniture, reclaimed materials and donated paint to run creative upcycling projects that benefit the community. We support young people, adults with additional needs, and those facing barriers to education, employment, or wellbeing through hands-on workshops, suppor

ted placements, and our “Paint and Purpose” programme. You can also visit our community shop at Unit 2, Western Approach, South Shields, NE33 5QU, where we sell quality second-hand furniture, homeware, and upcycled pieces at affordable prices—helping reduce waste while raising funds for our social impact work. As the community arm of Turton’s Removals and Storage, we’re proud to use our business resources to support local people and promote sustainability.
