I feel like I’ve been incredibly lucky with my brides this year. Just genuinely lovely, kind women who have made a slightly unexpected season of work a really special one.

I didn’t actually start this year intending to work this wedding season, but sometimes life starts life-ing and you’ve just got to do what you’ve got to do 🫠

And somehow, I ended up back in the studio with some of the loveliest brides I could have asked for.

Messages like this mean more than you probably realise. Of course I want your dress to fit perfectly, but I also want you to feel comfortable enough to tell me when something doesn’t feel right, when you’re worried about something, or when you just need someone to tell you it’s all going to be fine.

There are lots of changes happening behind the scenes at SU at the moment. Some big ones, actually.

If you’re getting married between October 2026 and May 2027, we’re now taking alteration bookings.

If you’ve found your dress, now’s the time to get your alterations booked in. Not because we’ll be pinning hems tomorrow, but because it’s one less thing to think about later.

I was incredibly nervous about having my wedding dress altered, but from the moment I walked through the door, all the girls made me feel completely at ease. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail gave me total confidence throughout the entire process.

Gemma especially went above and beyond to make sure my dress was absolutely perfect and never once made me feel like I was being too picky. She genuinely cared about bringing my vision to life and took the time to ensure every detail was exactly right.

The alterations and additional details she added, including extra leaves around the cup area, made such a beautiful difference and blended seamlessly into the dress. On my wedding day, I felt amazing, and I received so many compliments on how beautiful my dress looked.
