Six ladies came to my cushion workshop today, they all did so well .
It’s a very busy day but all managed to do the piping and insert a zip .

Patchwork can cover so many different techniques English Paper Piecing usually hexagons, sewing simple squares together but I’m a fan of half square triangles. They are so adaptable and you can achieve so many different patterns.
So this term we are making projects either the Carolina lily block or stars of different styles and sizes.

All my classes have restarted including a new class at the lovely K & B shop in ROMSEY.
There are spaces in the Marchwood class on Wednesday 9-30 until 11-30.

The pattern I designed for last term was well received and everyone seemed to enjoy making it, both the small size and the large quilt.

The pink quilt is my quilt and the colourful one is made by my talented student Kay. Who has a way with using colours and it much braver than me.

Summer term has now finish, Hope you have been able to visit ROMSEY ABBEY( last day today) so many of my students have exhibited their beautiful quilts.
I’m so proud of what they have achieved.

Classes re start in Calmore Community Centre on 11/9/23 10-30 until 1-30
and 1-30 until 3-30.

New beginners class start 18/9/23 10-30 until 12-30.
We will cover using a rotary cutter, accurate seam allowance , piecing and quilting leading to making a small lap/ baby quilt.

I have two spaces in this term patchwork and quilting classes starting
24 th April 2023. 10-30am until 12-30.
At Calmore Community Centre.
To make a table runner with interlocking blocks.
This will cover using a rotary cutter , piecing, quilting and binding the table runner.
Small friendly class .
Beginners welcome.

New term starts Monday 16 th January 23 in Calmore Community Centre
At 10-30 or 1-30.

This term we are going to work on some smaller projects.
3 D flowers which can be made into a cushion or Wallhanging.
