Hot girls don’t try to bring down other small businesses by trademarking a popular comon book phrase. Gross.

This kind of drama was not on my 2026 bingo card that’s for sure!

For anyone who doesn’t know “Hot girls read” has been a HUGE phrase used my MANY small businesses over the years but a “small business” has trade marked the phrase and is threatening lawsuits on anyone who uses it even if you’ve been selling those items for years. Not even worth mentioning her.

Happy 5 years to Patricia Pattern 🥹✨

I honestly can’t believe I’m writing that.
Starting this little business was something that felt so scary at first. It took me a long time to build up the confidence to put my art, ideas and little silly products out into the world… but doing it has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done 🤍
Over the last 5 years, Patricia Pattern has grown from a tiny idea over lockdown into market stalls, packed orders, lovely conversations, returning customers, and a community of people who genuinely connect with my work. That will never stop amazing me.
To every single person who has liked a post, shared my work, bought something, stopped by my stall, worn my pins, used my bookmarks, or supported me in any way… thank you. Truly. It means more than you’ll ever know 🫶
It’s crazy how quickly these 5 years have gone, and I’m so excited to see where this little business goes next ✨

Current best sellers… and honestly, I completely understand 😌

The “Ew People” badge, “Reading Is Cheaper Than Therapy” magnetic bookmark, and “Don’t Let Idiots Ruin Your Day” sticker have been getting a lot of attention lately!

I think we’re all just tired, overstimulated, and trying our best at this point (also avoiding the news like the plague!) 😅

Lots of people still get confused about what magnetic bookmarks actually are, so here’s the little explanation! 📖
They magnetically clip onto your page, meaning when your book inevitably launches itself onto the floor… your page stays exactly where it should be ✨

No more flipping through pages trying to remember where you were.
No folded corners (which I personally think is a crime)

I honestly think they're relatable icons. Low maintenance, a bit dramatic, and happiest when left alone... something i can resonate with 100%!

I’ve been really enjoying the sun finally making an appearance and apparently… so have these little ones 🌷🦋🍄

Bank holiday admin day… aka the part of running a small business no one tends to talk about 😂
As much as I love meeting people, designing stickers, enamel pins and all things creative… there’s always the behind the scenes fun…�emails, invoices, stock checks, replying to message etc and somehow it takes hours!
Especially after taking a little break, my emails have been something I’ve been procrastinating!

Running a small business isn’t just creating, it’s juggling everything at once. But honestly? I wouldn’t trade it 🫶
