Fabric Forests is a place where I can experiment and indulge in many different gorgeous fabrics and materials to create animals that have their own characters and charm, enough to make anyone fall in love with them- young or old! I love working with faux fur to give my creations a soft and loveable look and feel, but also will used upcyled cottons, corduroy, silk and much more! Occasional I will w

ork on an outside project to flex my creative skills and produce something that is beautiful to look at or just plain rustic and quirky. I do not use patterns beforehand, or very rarely plan my designs, as I feel my scissors will lead the way. My main aim is to have others enjoy my animals as much as I have loved bringing them to life.

I love creating characters from traditional or forgotten fairy tales that have a certain charm and loveability as well as forest animals in jackets and bow ties that all have their own personality and charm. My wild animal collection captures the essence of real wild animals, with their unique characters and personality, and are all very individual. This ensures that anything bought from Fabric Forests can be cherished as one-off, individual creations that are extremely special to that person.
