Fabrics update! β¨π
For anyone interested in placing an order (or just having a lil mooch), here is my current in-stock fabric update.Β
There's a humongous range of cotton jerseys and french terrys, all in fabulous colourful prints - both are Oejo-tex certified 95% cotton/5 % elastane, but I'll explain a bit about the difference between the two types of fabrics below...
Cotton jersey is a super soft, super stretchy fabric, lightweight (between 200-220gsm) and with great stretch recovery, which means it's suitable for all sorts of lightweight clothes: leggings, t-shirts, baby rompers, vests, dresses, shorts, hats, bibs... You name it!Β
French Terry is equally soft but not equally stretchy: it's a heavier weight (mine are usually 240-265gsm) and made with a looped back rather than a smooth back, which means it retains warmth more. Its knitted base means it still has a good amount of stretch, just not enough recovery for leggings. So french terry is a good choice for baby rompers, jogging bottoms, bibs, and lightweight hoodies & sweatshirts.
Hope that helps!Β
Let me know if you see anything you fancy π
I'll be getting some new fabrics in the new year, but til then, feast your eyes on these and put in any requests!
