And another shoutout to Emily and James, it was an absolute joy to work together with you on designing your dress and letting it come to life. It is truly amazing to see someone shine so brightly and happily in fittings when it all comes together. And you both looked radiant on your wedding day, many congratulations!

And here is Part 2 of Emily's wedding dress, in this video I will show you my work process of making the top! Very beautiful thick satin in white is used as the base, and the light blue comes back in piping between the panels, tieing the skirt and top together! Enjoy!

These days owning a business comes with many extra tasks, on of which is social media. People want to see what you do, it needs to be fresh and exciting. But sometimes it is also annoying and it takes the fun away from the sewing. I was trying to make a cute video on my new style, where I combine stays with half a skirt. Thinking ahead to in Llangollen where I will have a stall in a few weeks, I thought it would be good to add some sparkly fantastical magical options to the mix. Can you imagine how this will catch the light in the sun?

New drop on the webshop! You all loved seeing in her wedding dress, so I thought I'd share some of the making process with you! Here is part one, making the bridal skirt. Emily's skirt is made from soft satin in light blue, with a puffy petticoat and an overlay of white butterfly lace. Fun fact, some of the butterflies ended up on James' waistcoat to not only tie the knot but also tie bride and groom outfits together!

Overcoming my fear of doing voice-overs, I have decided to film how to lace yourself into one of my stays. Especially handy if you haven't worn one before, bought from my webshop, or was laced in by me at a fair and then panicked when you came home!
