We now meet at the Haling Dene centre in Penkridge, on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, 7-9pm. All welcome!

Our meetings are back 🪡🧵🎉!!!

Our monthly get togethers have restarted for 2022. We now meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, still at Penkridge Methodist Church, 7-9pm. Our next meeting is Wednesday 16th February.

Get out those half finished lockdown projects and come and join us 🙂.

At our group on Monday we had the pleasure of seeing this beautiful quilt in all its glory and hearing about how it came together.

This is a Covid quilt made by Sue Culver. The fabric was sent to her from all around the world, from America to Japan! You might be able to see from the pictures, she has embroidered the words and sayings we’ve got so used to hearing over the pandemic. The borders are also filled with moving poems and readings.

Amazingly this is Sues first ever quilt!! What a first project to take on!

We’re very lucky she kindly brought it along for us to see.
