Hand knitting garments

I've been engrossed in knitting dolls clothes for the last month or so. Not anything I even envisaged I would but I'm now addicted. I thought buying a doll and dressing her for a charity raffle would be good - when I suggested this 14 days before Christmas it was deemed a great idea and would be entered into a silent auction in a few days time. I managed to knit 8 outfits and it sold for £120; proceeds going to a Children's Hospice. Now working on more outfits after buying 2 more dolls :)

I will be posting knits here in the New Year as a trial. I knit constantly, right now it's dolls clothes to dress dolls for charity auctions as I'm swamped with previous baby/toddler knits. Posts will be cheaper than my Etsy listings as there will be no fees and VAT to be applied and I will still only charge actual postage [rather than more as Etsy takes fees on postage :(].

Decided to organise my knitting patterns and booklets; great idea but not a few hours task. Three days of sorting and now my baby/children's patterns are organised. Unearthed duplicates, crochet patterns [I don't crochet] and knitting machine patterns [why? I bever have had a machine :)]. Box of booklets to tackle and search out doublers. During my sorting I have found 10-15 must knit patterns - watch this space :)

Have so many knitted I will have to spend time and get them listed on Etsy.
Will probably change my listings to be postage free [not free included in the price which everyone knows], as Etsy take a percentage of fees from the postage. Not a seller friendly sight anymore but it has huge following :)

Stocking a new Etsy Shop, listed 44 so far with many still to go - finding knits I had forgotten about 😱 and can't find ones I thought I still had .... must be getting old ☺️

Designed these jackets with the view to writing the pattern to re-knit and sell but as usual got carried away with knitting them. Next time....

Merino Hooded Jackets in two sizes 18" 3-6 months and 19" 6 - 9 months; larger size has matching mittens :)

Just finished writing this pattern from memory - had to knit it a few times to get all the details as I got carried away knitting and forgot to write what I was doing down :)
Pattern was being sold on a Charity ETSY shop all proceeds going to Bannockburn House Trust but they decided not to continue with their Etsy shop :(
