Gorgeous merino purchased in the lovely Wanaka NZ. Have you seen the tree? We have a similar sight at Loch Lomond. Basket a treasure of mine.

Some of my favourite pictures taken whilst waiting to enter the Homer Tunnel (1.2 km long) in the Fiordland region of NZs South Island on our trip to Milford Sound from Manapouri. The tunnel pierces the Darran Mountains at the Homer Saddle.

They are honestly so cute though and when in flight their under feathers are so beautifully colourful. With feather structure that is incredibly intricate & silk-like. Very inspiring for weaving.
