Well that was really cool to be part of this quite historic event today at thee opening of our friends new skate shop Dead City Skate Shop in Burslem above Chris's already existing business PLANT CYCLE WORKS......👊
We wanted to be there to support them as this is the City's first skate shop since 'we' closed DAZED RETAILING LTD 7 yearz ago...
Itz cool that Chris has taken on the committment to give the City another family run independant sk8 shop ( as we were ),yes its well overdue but better late than never as the saying goes...
Skaterz now have somewhere to visit locally and see all things skate and get amazing customer service, much of what we did for over 20 yearz...There's no reason why D.C ( ooh i like the sound of that ;-) ) cant be around for many yearz to come with your help, buying new boardz,wheelz,clothing and more...
It felt really cool to be standing in a local sk8 shop again after so long. Chris has done a really great job on the look and feel, great to see he's used the very cool osb board on the floors and wall, it really makes them deckz pop out...
We love the photo of uz all infront of those deckz, its like we were there to say itz your turn now future us's and we wish you thee very best of luck with your new chapter...😁
Chris said to me he's keen to carry on the Dazed tradition of offereing a great space to come and hang out and get to know you all and find out what stuff you need? So make sure you chat to him with any requests or idea's that will help to keep you coming back...
Now the City has not only one of thee best outdoor skate parks ( Stoke Plaza ) and indoor skate park Unit 1 Park Works the picture is now complete with Dead City bringing you all your skateboard needz under one roof to go and thrash them places...😘
We had the best time at Dazed and the one thing we were sad about when we decided to close was that we left you guyz with no where to go to buy your stuff and a place to hang out, well now you have...Well done Chris and Laura for taking on the responsibilty to give the local sk8erz a new place to call their own...So make sure you keep 'droppin in' and grabbing what you need to keep 'rollin.'
I was stoked to see you sold your first ( of many im sure, judging by your awesome selection ) deck just as we were leaving...DEAD CITY HAS OFFICIALLY LANDED!!!!!!!

B💥💥M lookz like Stoke is once again getting itz very own independent skater owned shop again...😘🙌
Im proud to announce this awesome newz on our page, itz worthy of coming out of retirement to share this cool newz with you to give em the support they need...🙌

So if there's any Dazed Skate 'old skoolerz' left out there still skating then get yerselves down to the new shop and show them your support when they open...

Heyyyyy there 'Dazederz' :-) Well its been quite sometime now since we left the store and drifted off into the background!
We have had plenty of fun and adventures since this time last year ;-)
Dazed as a business actually closed down officially this week as thatz how long it took to wrap up all the dotz and i's and crossing the T's and we feel itz the right time to let go of the Face Book pages and finally lay it to rest :-)
We thank You ALL again for your support and loyalty to uz for all them yearz and we will always have awesome memories of what went down at Dazed :-)
I hope everyone is still skatin and hittin up Unit 1 skate park up Hanley duck :-D

I ONLY PUT SHOUT OUTZ ON THIS PAGE WHEN SOMETHING REALLY MATTERZ AND THIS DEFO DOES!!!!!!!!!!
Like i said when the guyz opened itz up to you now to give them your support by turning up and skating this awesome facility that the guyz have all shed blood,sweat n tearz to bring you!!!
Being in bizzness is hard, we,'ve been there and you can only do what YOU can ;-) but the rest iz up to you the customer and if that isn't enough then there goes your LOCAL indoor facility :-(
Its a no brainer Britain/Stoke you just gotta turn up and skate,is that too much to ask even if its a couple of hourz a week......I thought we were a Nation of Loving thee underdog,well these lovely bunch went up against the big parks because they cared about giving you somewhere more local to call your own and now they need YOU to help them before its to late!!!

Well this iz big NEWZ for the city's skate scene and i think sharing on here seemz the right thing to do to help spread the word ;-)
Itz just really cool that the City has another skate hub to go to and feel part of a community again and Unit 1 has all the ingredientz to make it work ;-) For a start an amazing skate park but the right people behind it ( skater owned and run ) who care about nurturing the local skate scene like we did at Dazed :-)
We wish everyone at Unit 1 all the best in their new business adventure (we know how exciting that was 15 yearz ago!!! )

So heres the write up from yesterdaze Official Opening of the new mini ramp section down at the Plaza dudes (y) You will have to ask Dave what trick he' thinkz he's doing :-D Itz taken twice as long as we anticipated but it was worth waiting for!!!!! Yo dudes :-) Itz Drew and im back to put out a quick shout that i will be down at the new mini ramp OPENING todazed from 3.30pm up at the Plaza (y) If possible it would be rad if anyone can make it up there to support the opening and the arrival of this new addition to the Plaza ;-)
Me and Mark Shenton aka Stoke-on-Trent Association of Skateboarders (S.A.S.) along with the Friends Of Central Forest Park group have worked hard to get this ramp for quite a while now and now itz finally here ;-)
So it would be really cool if you can head down there later today ( weather looking dry to (y) ) for a bit of an official Open Sk8 ;-)

WHAT an awesome reason to jump back on the old store FB page to announce that the STOKE Crew have retained their Red Bull DIY title for the 2nd year running!!!!!!
A massive CONGRATZZZZZ to the boyz who defo raised their diy skillz to an epic level ( see pics of the 'Mega Ramp' )
Shame we weren't around to take some credit again but we were there to get em started back in April (y)
I still feel connected to this comp for obvious reasonz,and going down there to the 'Spot' a few weeks ago to watch the Final all over again was a real treat!!!!
Really enjoyed meeting the Red Bull Crew and taking photos again to capture this very unique competition for the 'Boyz'
Im just wondering now what the hell are they gonna come up with next year?????????
WELL DONE AGAIN dudes enjoy the Winnerz 'Ride'-hahaha

Well we have spent our last Day-zed in the store todazed :-(
It was a hell of a task ( and not without tearz ) getting 14 yearz worth of stuff out of there but now we are looking forward to starting our new journey tomorrow ,we are flying off into the sunset to Turkey for 2 weekz r&r. ;-)

Thanks to everyone who haz helped uz this week (y)we couldnt have done it all without yer (y)
I hope you like the picz we are super stoked on em,what a great set of momentz to remind ourselves of what the last 14 yearz added upto that being all about the 'Vibe' ;-)
