Two washboards and both quite different!

I have two of my own; one for my photography as I love displaying pieces on them and one on our coffee table in ‘The Bakery’ as I love displaying pieces on them!

Their tactile appearance and warmth sings to me. Each one is individual. Some have knots and scrapes, others are more refined. Bit like us really.

Anyway, they are both on my website but I am bringing them to Staffordshire County Showground Number One Events - Stafford this weekend so grab them while you can.

Do you know about our weekly vintage challenge?

Each Wednesday we have a new themed event here on Instagram.

The theme is announced each Sunday at 7pm GMT.

Everyone is welcome. It’s free. It’s fun. It’s vintage.

It’s called

Frames are not only for artwork, but make great props too. I love using them on my shelves to pick out favourite pieces. Art, decoration; what will you show us?

A real life fair this weekend and Elsie’s Vintage will be there!

I thought I’d show you some of the gorgeous rustic pieces that will be coming with me. They are on the website but I’ll be packing them to take to Stafford ; unless you want them of course!

Cuteness alert! This 1920/1930’s Barbola mirror deserves its own square!

Original bevelled edges.

I have sold a few of these in my time, but I’ve never seen one this small. It’s a rare thing.

Remarkable condition too with just a couple of hidden nibbles on the back.

A reluctant sake as it would go nicely with a larger one I have in my bathroom!

It’s been a while since I’ve had a good faff with stock in The Shack. I’d forgotten what a joy it is.

I found some beauties last weekend at Malvern and Tabley. Including a selection of French pots, hand stitched cushions and some old ceramics.

My favourite find was the smallest antique Barbola mirror that I’ve ever seen. It really is adorable.

I’ve always wanted to find an egg stand and I spotted one. Victorian and with 18 holes. Think Downton Abbey!

Of course, they are really all my favourites because I only buy what I love and would have in my own home.

Anyway, they are all on my website but do message me if you want several items and I’ll try and combine postage. I always refund excess postage too.
