Our lovely Friday hairdresser Paula has landed herself a new full-time role outside the hair industry 🎉 While Fridays are changing, it’s definitely not goodbye — you’ll still spot her around the shop from time to time 💛

We’re now looking for a friendly, fun and reliable hairdresser to join our busy children’s hair team at Stepping Stones!

💇‍♀️ Flexible staff position — NO chair rental fees
💛 Lovely loyal customers & a great team atmosphere
🧸 Mostly little clients under 6 years old
🕒 Fridays (hours flexible), Saturdays on rota, holiday cover & adhoc shifts
✨ Perfect alongside family life, a second job or returning to hairdressing
‼️Minimum 2 years experience required‼️

We may recruit more than one person, so if any of this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you by the end of May🌟

Saturdays are always our busiest day for shoe fittings 🦶 👣 so we strongly recommend booking an appointment where necessary to avoid waiting ⏳, being asked to return later ⏰ , or disappointment💙. Bookings can be made here ⬇️

We’re a little bit proud (but our owner Mhari is a little bit embarrassed! 😅) to be featured in the local press highlighting something we care deeply about – making sure children have properly fitting footwear.

As proud members of the newly launched Footwear Hub, we’re helping raise awareness of just how important well-fitting shoes are in childhood to support healthy foot development and help prevent problems later in life.

At Stepping Stones, we always do our absolute best to support local families and ensure every child leaves with shoes that fit comfortably and correctly.
