I'm a mama of 2 with a love of sewing and beautiful, colourful, unique fabrics. What started as a little hobby making a couple pairs of Harems for Emmy, when she was one, quickly grew when I was pregnant with Louie; with so many other new babies on the way for my sister and friends at the same time. It was simply a joy to make all the new arrivals their first pairs of baby harems and lovely to hea

r feedback of the comfort compared to other clothes. From there it's just grown with me making lots more pairs for those and other children whilst on maternity and lots more plans for future items and fabrics!... It's quite exciting :)

So why EmmyLou? Well quite simply it's Emerie and Louie my amazing little ones I love so much, who I first went to the sewing machine to make things for and will always be first in my mind to create for. For every pair of Harems or Rompers there is a lot of time that goes into each and every one with everything made by me by hand and overlocker. I will cut patterns and fabric, pin, sew, lightly iron and carefully wrap each item, there's a lot of love and care. Plus all the admin that also goes on behind the scenes. I love picking fabrics and have lots on hand to choose from, I also wash and dry all fabrics before making anything with them to minimise shrinkage and prolong the fit time. I have a mix of Jersey's, French Terry, GOTS Sweat and organic fabrics, with lots of new fabrics arriving quite often. In term of postage, if you live locally I'm always happy to arrange collection or delivery if possible to minimise costs. But where posting items are sent in fully recyclable packaging. So what next? I'll be soon be heading back to work however i intend to keep sewing in evenings or weekends, with lots of plans for the future so please follow if interested and if you'd like something for your little one(s) or maybe as a gift for a new baby please drop me a message. Current turnaround time is between 2-3 weeks but where I can, items can be made sooner, simply depends on the numbers lined up already to make.
