Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me this summer. Even though I thought I'd been very conservative with how much work I took on for the summer, it was still too ambitious (me be ambitious with my word load NEVER!)

Well done to everyone who was trying to juggle work & kids this summer it is not easy!

The kids have been back for two days & it feels wonderful to be calmly sewing without interruptions, I've even listened to an audio book!

Ive made up samples for a few customers so please do check your messages if you've been waiting to hear from me. I am very much looking forward to working together.

Well this is new, sewing projects with the kids.

Arri came home from Nanna's last week with a new peg bag for me, complete with decorative stitching, love the fabric she chose for me too, full on confidence that she can use a sewing machine now.

Then Albie & I made some little bunting for the fairy house we visit in the woods.

Our latest project is pencil cases, Arri wanted to make one for her friend Penny too, so I made that one to demonstrate each step & she did all the steps on her own one, apart from the zip 😍.

Arri says she's running a sewing business now, if anyone wants to put in an order for a peg bag or a pencil case?

Three Nova star cushions for three sisters, made from their baby clothes. Backed in a caramel stripe & bound in a caramel spot. It's lovely when you make something in a day (not all three in one day). I've been making these since mid July, but with the kids home for summer they've been a slow make, but also a nice bit of calm me time, when the kids have been with Nanna.

These three are going all the way to Switzerland. ✈️

Sorry for the lack of quilt content, wedding waistcoats temporarily took over.

Well done Joni great quilt wafting!

This is a made from baby clothes & muslins.

I think this worked out quite well, so now added this to my Etsy store as a memory quilt option.

We're calling this one, the sweetie shop quilt!

Not going to lie this colour palette was way out of my comfort zone & I really wasn't sure it was working, but seeing it finished today I love it, fresh & zingy! There's silks, satins, stretch jersey, linen & cotton's in here, it may be a simple design but these materials definitely made it more challenging

Thjs is a simple memory quilt made from a much loved Mum's clothing, backed with a pale pink linen, which gives it a great weight, bound in a great stripy, checked shirt, which has a bit of all the colours in it.

I'll post a quilt roll video shortly 🌟

Sometimes you get the most perfect combo of clothing & quilt design, I think this little girls clothes in this stars above quilt design is dreamy!

I cannot wait to see what her Mummy chooses for the back & binding.
