After a little bit of an alteration it fits her perfectly, and doesn't she look absolutely amazing in it?

A little setback this week. My old sewing machine decided it's time to say goodbye and stopped working!

I guess that's an excuse to upgrade right? 😇

New sewing machine collected and we're back to it.

Prom dresses are still flavour of the month. I've done 8 already and I've got another 4 waiting to be done over the next few days!

Happy Spring to all 🌼

Been keeping busy with customers recently and had a request to adjust the size of a dog jacket.

As a pet owner, you may know that pets do not tend to like to come into others homes so I went for an at home consultation. 🐾

The dogs jackets was slightly too tight for him so I have added a panel and moved the zip along. As you can see on the images, (first few are original untailored) I used a slightly different colour waterproof material but still looks very appealing.

So if you've got any concerns of visiting me then let me know and I can come for a home consultation with appropriate PPE if you're in the mile radius.

Happy December all! Hope you're all well.

With all that's been going on in the world, I thought I would put my sewing skills to work.

You can now purchase made to measure masks! Whatever size, whatever pattern, whatever design; I've got you covered (literally). Straps can be adjusted from elastic to ribbon or anything that suits you.

This one was made for a 5-7 year old superhero loving child. It is also reversible so makes it even easier for the child to put on. What do you think?

Had a wonderful lady approach me with a wardrobe malfunction. The prettiest dress with the most unwearable sleeves. They didn't stay on her shoulders at all. Couldn't leave such a pretty dress like that could we!

I turned the sleeves into small elasticated straps that matched the rouching on the dress. Looks a treat even if I do say so myself!

Had this large sofa cushion cover with the zip broken. The customer had trouble with this but not an issue!

Removed the zip and added two zips so it's easier to take off when a wash is needed.

Don't worry about any little issue with fastenings, I've got you covered!

Well a customer came with a hoody that her husband just didn't want to get rid of. He had broken the zip.

Don't worry! Challenge accepted! Zip replaced and looking new again.

If you ever have something that you just can't throw away and needs a little bit of tlc...pop round.

Had a wonderful customer that brought in her wedding dress to be made into something more wearable for another occasion.

The dress was a little long and had a lot of tulle netting under.

2 layers of the netting was removed and also the bottom layer of the dress was shortened.

As you can see, the most intricately designed dresses can still be changed to how you'd love!

Have any outfits you need for a special occasion that are just not the right size or zip's or clasps not fitting right? Don't worry at all. I can change the zip's or alter the size and length of any outfit.

This is an Indian outfit with embroidery that needed altering. Looks as good as new and fits like a glove!
