So afew months ago. I had a challenge at uni. To create a shirt. THIS IS NOT MY BESTWORK. . I love this piece with all my heart but I know I can do better. And since creating this piece I have improved tremendously. So I’m challenging my self AGAIN to create this shirt. With a better understanding of the fabrics and techniques to be used.
I will bring you along in this whole journey.
yes I will be getting second hand fabrics, whether that be something I already have, or a second hand piece :)

Okay I’ve finally finished my final toile of this dress ‘Victoria’ see full dress tomorrow 🙂 can’t wait to show you!!!

Toile No.1 is complete….. alt of edits need to be done to get this pattern exactly as I imagined it… NEARLY THERE!!! 😋

On the second image I have show only afew edits I want make to this dress. Along with small details in the back which I will show you very soon 🙂

I love making vintage clothes and this time I am taking inspiration from everything I love about the 50s and 60s but instead of mixing and matching patterns I decided I am going to make my own, I have tried this once before and I’m not going to lie. It went terrible, so I’m trying again. I feel I have grown a lot this past year with my sewing, and now I finally know what I want to do with that talent.
