I listed our new dog bow ties on Etsy yesterday. A few have flown out already so I am super chuffed about that 🥰

They are handmade by me, made from 100% cotton. I'm a perfectionist so they are all lovely and symmetrical 😍

The bows are designed to attach to your dog's collar with a couple of velcro strips. They're really easy to fit, and are fine for all types of collars up to a max width of around 2 inches.

I hope these will spread a bit of fun and a few smiles as we navigate these crazy times ☀️

Our brand new doggie sailor bows are now live on Etsy! 🎉🥳

Pefect for keeping your hound looking quirky and adorable even in the warm weather.

The bows have velcro fastenings, so will fit on all sizes of collars and can even be attached to collars without a quick release clip.

There are 11 bows available, all different prints, so just one of each.

Hound Crop Tops ☀️ Now live on Etsy 🎉🎉🎉

As you might know already, Nellie has been recovering from a recent injury and we needed to keep a wound on her chest covered to stop her licking it. It's a bit warm for full jumpers so I made her some crop tops.

Quite a few of you said that you love a hound crop top so I decided to add them to the shop.

They will also be useful for dogs that regularly p*e on their clothes 🫣, or those that don't like too much coverage.

I've listed the crop tops a little differently to my other jumpers. There is just one "crop top" listing where you can go and choose what fabric and print you'd like. Etsy limits on the number of drop down menus per listing, so I wasn't able to simply add this "crop top" option to my existing listings. To keep things simple the crop tops are sleeveless as standard and have a practical mid-length neckband.

I will add new prints to the listing as they become available.

I made some sailor bows for doggy collars 🥳🥳

I have 12 available, all different prints, so just one of each. I'm working on the listings so will get them on Etsy in the coming days. They will be £12 each plus p&p.

I'm not here just for clicks or popularity, and I honestly don't want to go viral. I just want to share pics and info about my work and my greyhound girl, Nellie, in a way that supports and promotes my livelihood. And I also love to hear all about your wonderful hounds.

It often feels like a battle against the algorithm, but I try to just keep doing what I'm doing, and hope that the right people will find me.

That said, I do rely on support from you lovely lot to engage with my content, help bump the algorithm, spread the word, bring customers and keep me doing what I'm doing.

Just wanted to share some gorgeous customer pics to brighten your Wednesday 🤩🥰😍

It's so much slower on jumper orders at the moment as the weather is so warm and wet 🫠 I'm keeping myself busy with all those jobs that I've been putting off for the last 6 months. I've sorted my sewing space, decided what I'm doing for Christmas jumpers, planned my September drop, cut some samples, and chosen a bow tie design to add in the shop. I've also been having another look at the coat situation, but have had to put that on hold as my chief product tester is out of action due to injury 🤕 I still have a list as long as my arm of other bits to do so I'll keep going!

If you'd like to sort your hound a jumper for next winter, now is a really good time as the queue is short, so it'll be with you super quick, and then you can be smug and ahead of the game 🤩

My darling girl was unfortunately injured on the weekend. She has a nasty wound on her chest which the vet stuck back together. She said we should keep a top on Nellie to cover the wound while it heals, so she doesn't lick it.

It's kind of warm for a jumper, and I'll take any excuse to sew for my girl, so I decided to make her a cropped top in a thin jersey fabric and I was taken aback by how adorable she looks 🤭

So I was just thinking I'd share in case anyone needs one of these for their hounds. Just drop me a message as it was a lot of fun to make and I'd love to make a few more! I can do any print or plain colour that I have in stock.

I know a few other sellers make these kinds of short tops but I never understood the purpose of them. Now I do, I'm wondering, should I add these to Etsy? Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in, even if not now, but maybe in the future.
