After few laps I started struggling with a tight chest and coughing up flem so had to pull out, random as I felt fine in the morning! Well done to Taylor for the win & taking the overall National Series!

European Junior Tour Assen Stage 5!
The final stage!
Hoping for some splits today to help my GC but the pace just wasn’t fast enough! A Dutch rider attacked a lap to go and was let go to take the win and the rest of us left for a bunch sprint! coming across the line in 19th.

TT is always tough against the bigger lads so it was just trying to go as hard as possible and limit time lost for GC

European Junior Cycling Tour Assen Stage 3
5 laps up the Col du Vam! The number gridding system gridded me on the back row on today’s race and after last year’s disappointment I knew how important it was to get to the front! Managed to work my way there pretty quick ready for it to kick off on the first lap, each lap was fast up the climb then it settled on the roads below! Was hoping to finish a bit higher today but only a few seconds behind my team mate the stage winner .uk 👏 with myself finishing 21st. European Junior Cycling Tour Assen Stage 2
The Day I Became A Sprinter!
This stage is always fast and full of crashes! Narrow roads for 65 riders to squeeze through then a long wide road to sprint to the finish! I didn’t want to be on the right as two years ago there was a big crash on that side into the barriers but I couldn’t get across! I saw a gap open, squeezed through and sprinted to take 8th place and some bonus seconds to move up to 12th in GC! Keep an eye out for my Race Video 🎥 🍿 @ CYCLOBOYRILEY on YouTube

European Junior Cycling Tour Assen Stage 1
Fast Crit race from the start with a group of around 20 riders getting away with myself in this front group and a good 20 plus seconds up the road to a large charge group, we frustratingly dropped the pace about three quarters of the way in and the big group got back on! The race finished with a bunch sprint for me to come across the line in 20th out of 65 riders.
