If you’re heading outdoors to enjoy the sunshine 🌳
👉 Pack a picnic - not a BBQ.

Disposable barbecues and campfires can quickly get out of control in dry grass and countryside. What might seem harmless can spark a fire that spreads in seconds.

🚫 Avoid BBQs and campfires
🔥 Heat can linger long after you’ve left
🌬️ Dry ground + wind = rapid fire spread
🐾 Fires can devastate wildlife and habitats

✅ Stay safe this summer:
🥪 Bring a picnic to enjoy
🚮 Take litter home – especially glass
🚶 Stick to designated paths
🚨 Call 999 immediately if you spot a fire
