There is a lovely story behind the sequoia wood used for making this wall clock. It used to be a mantlepiece above a fire place in a collapsing brick and flint building near Henley-on-Thames and managed to salvage it before demolition. It didn't look much but after I slice cut it, a beautiful texture was revealed. The boards sat in my storage for years and now I am finally happy with this use for them. The wood was sourced from the local Highmoor Woods well over 120 years ago where there are still few sequoia trees that majestically tower over.
Clock is battery powered and measures 600mm/800mm.
