The original design was the first piece of clothing in the world that was created using Indigo yarn, developed in our factory, which was then in Hayes – it was this sweater that was the start of the journey of the Original Blues’ brand…

Back in 1985, this Aran design was made in our UK factory in 3-gauge weight, but it became rather too heavy for contemporary living. So, we are now excited to be re launching our Adventure Aran in a finer 5 gauge.
Great teamed with jeans, shorts or chinos, the Adventure Aran will look equally at home whether your adventure is at sea, in the country, the city or even just in the garden. With the stylish design features and impeccable construction methods synonymous with the Original Blues’ brand, the Adventure Aran sports a ribbed crew neck, cuffs and hem and an appealing Aran pattern based on traditional designs. Beautifully soft, but very hard wearing, knitted from 100% Cotton, Adventure Aran is available in Indigo, finished with a salt and vintage wash, to give a familiar, used feel, just like an old favourite.
