Sometimes inspiration finds you when you’re not even looking for it.

I unexpectedly came across this beautiful display inside a home store in Birmingham, inspired by H. Morrall’s Gentlemen’s Outfitters, a menswear shop that once stood on Hall Street in Dudley.

What immediately caught my attention was the history, character and craftsmanship. The deep green walls, traditional tailoring illustrations, vintage advertisements, old photographs and carefully arranged menswear create something that feels like a little journey back in time. 🕰️

It made me think of the Peaky Blinders era — when clothing wasn’t simply about fashion, but about craftsmanship, personal style, attention to detail and the pride of being well dressed. 🧵🎩

I love discovering English fashion history and the stories behind traditional British menswear. It’s amazing how you can walk into an ordinary store expecting nothing and suddenly find a whole story waiting for you.

For me, it’s another reminder that passion follows you wherever you go. ❤️

Being a seamstress and running my own business isn’t always easy. There are long days, tired eyes and lots of work — but I truly love what I do.
Every stitch, alteration and creation gets a little piece of my heart. I love helping people feel comfortable, confident and happy in what they wear.

This month I’ve been thinking about giving and receiving.

I give my time, creativity, care and positive energy — and in return, I receive trust, smiles, kind words and beautiful connections with my customers.

It was so much fun being a stylist for my colour-blind customer and helping him create a great outfit using his much-loved "Miami Vice" jacket😉. With a few thoughtful alterations, I transformed it into a more modern, flattering style while keeping the character and personality of the original piece. 🧡

I love finding inspiration in nature — and this beautiful mustard/golden colour was the perfect starting point for creating the look. 🌻

Style isn’t always about buying something new. Sometimes, it’s about seeing the potential in what you already have and giving it a fresh new life. ✂️✨

What a lovely surprise today! 🥹💐🥂

I had the pleasure of helping a bride by altering her wedding dress just two weeks before her big day. I had actually taken a break from doing wedding dress alterations for a while, so this was the one job I had really been missing.

Being able to help her feel ready for such an important day was rewarding enough, so I was completely surprised when she turned up today with beautiful flowers and a bottle of bubbly. 😳

It was such a thoughtful gesture and a reminder that it's not only about giving—sometimes it's about receiving too. ❤️

To all my wonderful customers, thank you for your trust, kindness and support. Moments like this make me love what I do even more.
