I had a great time last weekend working out in Dunnet Forest with the .dab.hands for Forest Festival.

It was great fun to create costumes alongside the young people and see how much joy and freedom they had creating their performance with the Dab Hands gang.

Sewing on a sunny day outside in Caithness, having fun, perfect day!

The workshop to create the massive puppet was equally as fun and I loved the drive to finish it, so much creativity.

The silent disco at night was so magical, we are lucky to have the team at Lyth Arts Centre creating these amazing events. 🥳❤

I have decided that I won't be starting sewing classes back up. I have had a few people ask me recently so I thought I would put up a post.

I want to learn some new skills and do some creative experiments, I am documenting this over .studio on Instagram, right now I am figuring how to print with natural dyes, hence the gorse flower picture.

I may do one off workshops in the future, just not regular classes so still keep up with me here, where I will still document my sewing adventures 😀

I was invited to attend a reception at the Castle of Mey tonight to thank volunteers in the community throughout the Covid Pandemic.

It was great to see all the volunteers from different sectors and meet HRH Prince Charles.

Was an honour to represent the Caithness and North Sutherland, For the Love of Scrubs squad 🙌
