Vintage Singer sewing machines are prized by collectors and sewing enthusiasts for their beauty, history and craftsmanship. The 201K was known for its durability, reliability and versatility, as it could sew a variety of fabrics and stitches. The 201K was also available in a hand crank or treadle version, for those who preferred the old-fashioned way of sewing.

Another vintage Singer model that is admired by many is the Featherweight, which was launched in 1933 and was designed to be lightweight and portable. The Featherweight weighed only 11 pounds and came with a handy carrying case. The Featherweight was ideal for travelling or taking to sewing classes, as it was easy to set up and operate. The Featherweight had a simple but elegant design, with a black body and gold decals.

Enjoying working on this piece in the sunshine.
So far... sanded down to remove the old varnish that had heat/moisture stains from hot drinks and fixed the cross bar under the drawer as it had broken at one end.

A busy start to the year... 2 tables sold in the last week and needing delivering.
Today I drove from Devon, via Birmingham to Leeds, then on then on to Great Manchester and finished up in another country (North Wales) to see my brother and family. A little hotel stay then home tomorrow!
