Today Gold Street said it’s final goodbye to Beverley Wheatley in the most poignant and beautiful way. If only Bev could have seen her send off. Thousands of white flowers, loads of applause. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and anyone who came across this lovely lady. She was responsible for the setting up of the Independent Quarter of Tiverton with .mojo .and.me as well as living with her extended family on Gold Street with her beloved husband and dogs. Bev was an absolute ⭐️and I sincerely hope that she will be up there watching over Gold Street.

Dog walk days with our new rescue dog- Doris. She is our beloved dog Boson’s cousin, who needed rehoming after she had a c section lost her pups and her home. She is a star and best friend of Minnie. We’ve never been without dogs, so she was meant to be for us. She cannot replace Boson who had to be put to be sleep, but she has been a godsend to us all. Sometimes life has to go on and we have to let fate pay its part. Time to try and move on with a different story, remembering the past and the memories of the past.

Today our hearts broke, because we had to say farewell to our beautiful gentle giant. He was the best, everything we ever wanted in a dog. We shall miss him every day. He was a one off. Handsome, loving, a great companion and our best friend. No words can express our sadness today. It was a day we never wanted to arrive.

This battered butterfly has managed to survive and appears when the sun is shining. I feel empathy for her. I hope she will make it to the spring. Where there is life there is always hope. 2023 will be the year of the survivors. Lighter days and hopefully sunnier ones will get us through. Roll on summer!

It is beginning to look like Christmas at last It’s not be the greatest of years but, although the house is still not sorted from the flood, at least the house is not full of driers this year! Hopefully we will get some closure on this whole sorry affair next year. For now from me, I hope you have a Great Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!
