A simple rug repair today
The masterminds who made this rug, let’s call them BeatherWeeta for sake of argument, made the chest strap so it was unable to take off the broken clip. The clip had to cut off and a new one attached with a strong piece of leather, that was hand stitched back onto the webbed strap.
Looks so smart I’m almost tempted to do the other one to match!

Lucy Lee Eventing sent me her bridle for a small repair, it’s now all fixed and will be off in the post tomorrow morning, ready in plenty of time for the weekend.

I might be biased but that hand stitching though #😍
This is an example of one of the types of hand stitching I use. It’s more time consuming than machine and runs the risks of self stabbing, but looks amazing and is a lot stronger than machined thread

New Product Time! 🎉🎊🙌🏼
Due to the irregularities in sizes of hides, I am often left with lots of pieces too small to make into any bags but still far too good to go to waste so I started making these tassels. Predominantly they where to be sold with the Zeal Fold Over Clutch to complete the look but I have been working away and have made a good load which are now for sale individually live on the website

Calorie Free Easter Egg Hunt!

This Easter weekend join in with the free online Easter Egg Hunt at Greig & Bailey. Starting on Good Friday (2nd April) and ending at midnight on Easter Monday (5th April) there will be Easter Eggs hidden throughout the website, each with their own code.
