Cheeky Sew & Sew is a sewing workshop based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire offering a wide range of sewing and dressmaking courses, handmade garments for sale, and an upholstery and alterations service.
We offer a regular 4 week beginners sewing course each month, regular dressmaking and techniques courses and Saturday ‘Make & Take’ sessions, where you create a garment in a day and build your skills base too. Our courses are very comprehensive and well taught in a friendly, inclusive, creative environment in our fully equipped sewing workshop.
There is a small range of high quality, quirky fabrics for sale at the workshop and we have vintage patterns and some vintage fabrics for sale too. We have a range of clothing & accessories including circle skirts, vintage style dresses, overstitched denim clothing, tweed and denim bags , and tweed and velvet scarves. Our clobber is truly unique as we often incorporate upcycled items (mostly jeans and inner tubes) into our work. We have some ready made items for sale, but can make to measure, just call in and ask.
We offer a making up service for garments and soft furnishings if there is something you love and you want it making or re-making for you and we accept commissions for both clothing and upholstery.
