You know when you wake to a story, that you don't really take in straight away?! Like, sorry... What?

That was Friday morning. Admittedly I've never been a huge fan of Kyle, but that's ok, as having heroes and villains in sport is what makes it so human. I think it's fair to say however that this caught absolutely everyone off guard.

RIP Kyle, thoughts with all of your family, and the wider Motorsport family. A huge name, a huge inspiration to many (how many amateur race cars do you see with the M&Ms wrap!!) and a huge loss.

He’s been with Purple Helmet since day one, some would say he IS Purple Helmet.
Part racer.
Part chaos goblin.
100% looks like he’d shout “SEND IT!” to himself into turn one with absolutely no concern for the consequences.

That slight scowl says:
