Friday is my day for visiting Granny daisyknots and she does love her pink orchids, so I surprised her today with a couple of new ones ❤️
They go brilliantly with her pink mosaic sampler that I made for her a few years back ❤️

For today’s we are revisiting Santa Cruz ❤️ This pattern has a special place in my heart as it was made for my son and his partner ❤️ I made it during the first lockdown which made it even more special as it was a brilliant lockdown project to do ❤️
PS the cushion peeking in at the corner is the Jamie cushion - that was made for my son to match his blanket ❤️

Section four of my Daisy Belle is growing, I'm half way there and this is def the last section I am doing as it fits perfectly now at the bottom of the bed in the spare room ❤️ I have sourced some gorgeous Harris tweed fabric from the that will look fab for the blind and curtains in this room ❤️ Just need to get my paint samples sorted, decorate the room and make up the blind and curtains, so I'm gonna be a bit busy over the next few weeks.....

Who likes a rug? I adore the rugs I have made and I must make some more ❤️ This one was made using my Geometric Lace pattern and I used two strands of aran cotton to make it, and I love the weight and texture it gives me. This cotton washes brilliantly on a gentle machine wash too, as I discovered a few weeks back ❤️

Last post of the year for me - though I will admit I have not been very consistent this year in posting as life has been getting in the way.... 🥴
On that note, I am so, so grateful to the lovely community of like minded souls that like my posts, reply to my comments, share my content, and purchase my patterns, so many, many thanks for sticking with me this year, you are fabulous and very much appreciated 🙏

Well I didn't really mean to take a hiatus from the gram 🥴 I've been renovating our living room in time for Christmas (as you do....) and the final thing to do is to decorate the Christmas tree 😅 So I feel I can take some time to post for ❤️ My WIP is still the square Daisy Belle blanket that I am working on, I am on my fourth border now and loving it. Not sure when I am going to stop as I have just ordered more yarn so I can keep going with another border if I decide to. Though that might make it massive 🤣

Last Saturday I found some wonderful local yarn when visiting the cotswolds from Cheza Makes ❤️ and this Saturday when at my Weaving Guild day the lovely was there teaching a fab looking spinning class (I'm def not a spinner though...) and I got some more fantastic yarn from her ❤️ I also found some yarn when unpacking that I got a while back when I visited Carrie of ❤️ The idea is to use the yarn to make socks, which I have never done and is def out of my comfort zone, but I have trust in Eleonora from as it is her pattern that I am going to have a go with. Wish me luck 🥴
