Not quite first day back to school photo but during our summer holiday wardrobe sort out, we got the next age clothes down from storage and found this cute little suit that my son wore to my brothers wedding 10 years ago.

Of course we had to try and recreate the photo!

It was such a pleasure to meet Kelise and her lovely mum.

Kelise wore a beautiful strapless ruched wedding gown with a stunning lace veil for her wedding in Sorrento, Italy.

I have absolutely loved seeing all your social media posts and stories from your special day, Kelise. It looked so incredibly special, and it certainly looked like you all had the most amazing time!

Kelise’s dress needed taking in through the bodice and hips to create the perfect fit. Her beautiful veil also needed a little transformation, all of the delicate lace edging was carefully removed before the veil was cut down to the perfect size, allowing it to just gently overhang her train. Each piece of lace was then carefully repositioned and hand sewn back into place.

Thank you so much for sharing these gorgeous photos with me, Kelise, and for trusting me with your beautiful dress and veil. It was such a pleasure to be part of your bridal journey.

One of my top tips when you collect your wedding dress...

If your dress is too full to fit comfortably inside its gown bag, pop it into a clean duvet cover instead. Any colour, pattern or print is absolutely fine!

A duvet cover gives your dress plenty of room to breathe and helps prevent it from getting squashed after it's been beautifully pressed. It's a simple little trick that helps keep your gown looking its best until the big day 💕

Some brides like to be organised.

We took her beautiful dress in to fit her perfectly, adjusted the gorgeous detail on the back, and carefully unpicked and repositioned the lace so everything sat just right for her 💕

Claudia is another one of my lovely brides who travelled all the way down from the beautiful city of Edinburgh to have her bridal fittings with me.

For Claudia’s dress, I carried out a shoulder lift and carefully eased the bodice in to create the perfect fit. I then removed and repositioned the sleeves so everything sat beautifully and comfortably on her.

It was such a pleasure to work with you, Claudia, and so lovely getting to know you, your mum and your sister during your fittings.

Thank you so much for choosing me to fit your beautiful dress and for trusting me with such an important part of your wedding day.

Ria was such a lovely bride to work with. She came to me with a few worries about her dress, we talked through all the options and decided on the best way together. We added structure, darts and extra appliqué to make sure everything fitted beautifully and, most importantly, that Ria felt completely confident in her dress.

It was such a pleasure to help bring everything together, and I’m so pleased she left feeling confident and excited for her special day.
