5 curtain shortenings in a holiday rental, the finished result really makes the room look more put together and frames the windows perfectly 😊

I had the pleasure of altering the brides beautiful dress and the grooms suit for their special day. They looked absolutely brilliant at their Eden project wedding 🥂

The brides dress was shortened, taken in at the zip, breast cups added and taken in at the cup seams at the front to create a perfect fit and shape 🪡

The grooms suit trousers were shortened, and the waist coat had a hook and eye added above the buttons hidden so that it stayed in the perfect place on the day 🧵

🧵🪡 A little introduction about me and my business as I've had loads of new followers lately ✨️

I'm the owner and seamstress behind Tidal Tailoring, my self-employed business that's all about bringing high-quality tailoring to clients across the UK and right here in my beautiful home of Cornwall.

I officially started my journey as a professional seamstress in 2018, although I have been sewing since I was 3 years old thanks to my mum and grandmother 😊 in 2021 I moved my business from my living room to a space at the wonderful workshop .

Since then, I've had the pleasure of working with a variety of fantastic companies and local customers. When I'm not busy at my sewing machine, you'll often find me unwinding with some crochet, getting creative with art (usally at a festival setting up the decor) enjoying beach walks, or heading out for a peaceful paddelboarding session.

And if you ever pop by the workshop, you're sure to meet my faithful companion, Ambie, the workshop dog whos come along the journey with me for the last 3 years and who's usually right there by my side! 🐶🩵

One of many beautiful prom dresses I've altered in the last few weeks 🪡 🧵
Ellie looked amazing for her end of school prom 🎆

The hem was altered just at the front of the dress so that Ellie had a small train at the back, which worked absolutely perfectly for the style of the dress and the event 😊

Straps that came with the dress were also added but to a bra instead of the dress, poppers were then added to the outside of the bra and the inside of the dress so you would never know they were separate 🪄 a creative idea that worked perfectly ✨️

Two beautiful flora day dresses that had a few alterations for the midday dance 🪡🧵 one of them needed a corset back added, the length shortening and straps adding, the other needed shortening and taking in at the waist ✨️ the ladies looked fantastic ☀️
