A menswear staple, reimagined.

The field jacket has long earned its place within the modern wardrobe, offering a perfect blend of utility and style. This is our sartorial take.

Lightweight, versatile and designed to be dressed up or down with ease. This particular example is crafted from an ultralight cloth by with a soft flannel handle on the exterior and a water-resistant membrane beneath, providing protection from the summer showers we've experienced this week.
Equally at home over tailoring, knitwear or a simple shirt.

The Groom Series. Chapter 4.

The details are what make a commission truly personal.

From embroidered dates and hidden messages commemorating the occasion, to incorporating favourite colours and styling choices that allow the garment to continue working long after the wedding day itself.

The best tailoring should feel personal to the wearer in every sense.

The Groom Series. Chapter 3.

Fabric selection plays a defining role in the tailoring process. The weight, texture and character of a cloth shape not only how a garment looks, but how it feels and performs throughout the day itself.

We work with an extensive range of cut length fabrics from some of the finest mills in the world, allowing every commission to be tailored to the individual, the setting and the occasion.

The Groom Series. Chapter 2.

For many clients, a first custom garment can feel like a daunting process. Our role is to make sure it never feels that way.

From the first consultation onwards, we focus on creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, taking time to guide clients through the process, explain the heritage behind what we do and build complete trust in every decision being made.

Good tailoring should feel personal, collaborative and enjoyable from start to finish.

The sun is shining and many of us are spending the bank holiday weekend attending weddings, so it feels like the perfect time to begin sharing The Groom Series with one of our favourite Richard George grooms from last year, .

Chapter 1: Designing Around the Wedding Location.

When approaching wedding tailoring, the location and atmosphere of the day always play an important role in shaping the consultation process. From the cloth and colour palette to the overall level of formality, every detail should feel connected to the setting and the couple themselves.

A pleasure to create this look for Harvey and to be part of such a brilliant occasion alongside .payntsouth.

The “No brown in town” rule has officially been retired.

Tailoring remains the bread and butter of what we do, and this suit gives a glimpse into the upcoming Quarterly Capsule Q2.

Cut from a rich chocolate brown plain weave by , it’s designed as a true all year-round piece. Lightweight enough for warmer months, while retaining the structure and versatility needed across the rest of the year.

A suit designed to move comfortably between business, events and everyday wear.

Measure twice, cut once.

The measuring process is about far more than numbers. It’s about understanding how a client lives, works and wants to feel in their clothing.

That’s why our showrooms are designed to feel relaxed and unhurried. Time to discuss fabrics, styling and the finer details, while ensuring every measurement and decision is considered properly.

Good tailoring begins long before the first stitch.

It starts with the cloth.

Choosing the right fabric is one of the most important parts of creating a suit. The way it drapes, wears and performs across the year shapes the entire garment.

From year-round worsteds to classic flannels and lighter seasonal cloths in spring shades and weights, we work with thousands of fabrics to ensure each commission is built around the life of the wearer.
