Your first bra after surgery won't be your forever bra.
Breast cancer does not automatically mean you must always wear a pocketed bra, or never wear wires again.

Some women can return to wired styles once healed. Others prefer non-wired bras. Pockets are a practical consideration if you have a prosthesis, but not an automatic must.

The advice given to you for your initial recovery often doesn’t cover your longer-term choices and leaves some ladies unsure what they can wear 6-12 months down the line.
Having all the information allows you to make choices that are right for you. Some ladies prioritise style, others coverage or comfort; there is no right or wrong here, just personal preference.

I need your help! This Wednesday I’m teaming up with the fantastic Sarah from to explore how the right foundations make you feel and your clothes fit.
I’m looking 2 or 3 women who haven’t been fitted by us before and haven’t been fitted for a long time to come in for a fitting and then have a chat with us about fit and style.
We would like to film some of the conversations (but not the fitting) so we can share with others what a difference well fitting foundations can make.

One little thing worth taking into November (and every month after!) is a regular reminder to check your b***s.

Because between work, washing, family life and everything else on the never-ending to-do list, it's very easy to forget.
