We've been watching the news on India with a heavy heart. The devastation begins with Covid cases and stretches to all those whose families, livelihoods and business have been affected.⁠

Thankfully our tailors are in good health and until we're able to visit and resume trading, our focus has turned to the efforts of charities sourcing and providing oxygen, such as the British Asian Foundation. We've decided to donate £10 of each sale this coming week to their oxygen appeal.

Here at Sailaway we’ve been basking in this early Cornish sunshine, taking advantage of these extra hours of golden light to shoot our Indian Summer and Evening Dress collections. We’ve been gingerly selecting our festival pieces while we await confirmation of the forthcoming season. For us, meeting you all in person and finding your own dream dress is at the very heart of the business, so we cannot wait to get back to it.

⁠We’ve decided to have a little break from posting on social media over the next few months, so we thought we’d fill you in. Our Vintage Kimono, Winter & Warm Weather edits will still be available to buy from the website to see you through these next few months in style and will be dispatched straight away. We’ll still be checking our Instagram and Facebook in case you have any questions, so don’t hesitate to get in touch. As with so many businesses, local and further afield, we’ve had a rollercoaster year and so, we’ve decided to take our quieter winter months not only to rest, but to get back to the drawing board and plan something magical for summer 2021. ⁠
