A few weeks ago, I was in London for Fashion Week, proudly representing Clobber Swap at THIS IS ICON Awards
Amongst all the excitement, the fashion, the wonderful people and the absolute madness of the day, I met a really lovely girl called who was sat on her own on our table. Rebecca was supporting her fashion designer boyfriend.
It turns out he’s a fellow Yorkshire creative, from Sheffield, with his own fashion brand, FVTVRE WORLD.
His vision? Futuristic fashion with a focus on sustainability, creativity and thinking differently about the clothes we wear.
And here’s the exciting bit…
He’s now coming to showcase his designs at our LEPAS & LUXURY event this Saturday, 17th October, at Darrington Golf Club! 🙌
How fabulous is that?!
One minute you’re chatting to someone at London Fashion Week, and a few weeks later you’re welcoming them to your own event in Yorkshire!
It just goes to show that sometimes the best opportunities come from the most unexpected conversations.
I’ve always believed that you have to get out there, meet people, support other businesses and be open to where life takes you.
And I absolutely LOVE bringing creative, passionate people together.
What makes this even more special is that sustainability is at the heart of what we’re building with Clobber Swap. We might approach fashion in different ways, but we’re both challenging people to think differently about it.
From London Fashion Week to a golf club in Yorkshire who’d have thought it?! 😂❤️
