It’s been Wild… ♥️
So after 14 years, I have finally decided it is time for me to retire… gosh, that sounds so scary saying it out loud!
Over the last few months, as many of you know, we have been slowly transitioning from being a full retail bridal boutique into more of a bridal fittings and alterations business, carrying out fittings not just for our Wild brides but for the brides of other local bridal boutiques.
This has been such a fun transition, but the truth is I’m not getting any younger and bridal fittings is a fast-paced business so it is time for me to pass the reins onto the next generation (one who hopefully knows a heck of a lot more about social media than I do 🤣)
So from the 31st October 2026, the fittings and alterations for all our Wild brides, as well as those we have already booked in for other boutiques, will continue to be carried out by our incredible seamstresses Kelly kluedollbridalalterations and Dani DaniMae Designs & Alterations at their lovely local studios. Both are incredibly kind, patient and talented women and I know I am leaving our brides in capable hands.
For all our brides who have bought dresses with us, don’t worry, I will still be keeping an eye on things behind the scenes, making sure your gorgeous dresses arrive on time and that your fittings are booked in and everything runs smoothly. In fact I will be hand-holding each and every one of you right through until my very last bride gets married in 2028.
For those brides who have not yet purchased a dress, there is still time to grab a bargain as we will be continuing to sell dresses off-the-peg until the boutique closes on the 31st October 2026.
One last thing before I end this long post, a huge thank you to my wonderful colleague Susanne for always being so supportive, to our incredible seamstresses Kelly and Dani for continuing to look after our brides and to all the suppliers we have worked with over the years, as well as other local boutiques Yorkshire Bridal Boutique and Love & Cherish Bridal Boutique for trusting us with your fittings over the recent months and years.
