I'm soooo grateful and excited to share that I've been granted a generous Scholarship to train on MuscleMusic's upcoming certification program. 🤗

This means so much to me. 🥹

Since Stitch Fix UK closed down last October and we were all laid off, I leaned fully into further developing what was then a side-project (teaching homeschooled teens online).

Helping shy teens in their job hunt and job interview prep process, and providing personal styling advice around that, is now what I DO.

It has been sooo rewarding, and I'd like to keep adding value to what I offer these teens.

Thing is!

The scholarship is for 75% of tuition with 25% left to cover. So I am asking with all my heart, for help. 🙏

I’m just 765GBP away from starting the training next month. I've started a gofundme which will be linked to in the comments.

Helping teens feel less like they are in a “hot seat” of the job interview, and more like they are in the driver’s seat in that they confidently OWN the process, is important in kids' development.

And being qualified and equipped to help others build up their self-confidence is so important because anxiety has been on the rise since the pandemic. These times are more unsure and shaky for all of us, not just teens.

The MuscleMusic training will deepen my understanding of:

the important and helpful 👍 😃
NOT frustrating and hinderful 👎 😖

role that our nervous systems play when a human is put under social pressure to “perform” in any given capacity, whether it be

in music,
in public speaking,
or in a job interview setting,
just to name a few.

I can’t wait to integrate Ruby Rose Fox's Fox Method and accompanying 50+ new coaching tools into my coaching program, Prepare to Shine.

Prepare to Shine is a 10-step program that:

✅ helps teens make friends with mind-blank moments
✅ provides a safe space to craft a CV and practice speaking confidently about their strengths & skills
✅ gives away incredibly empowering, LIFE LONG tools and mindset/paradigm shifts

North Wales is a beautiful place (and film up high has done a beautiful job of showcasing it in this video) and if we can continue to prioritize sustainability and life-preservation, over commercial benefits, then we might also see some change in the fashion industry, among others. As I’m new to the area I’m interested in learning more about local weavers and makers and tailors and will post my findings as I go!
