Back to work today after one day off i feel much more recharged and ready for the next week. We’ve got a busy few weeks ahead personally it’s my husbands 40th, George is finishing primary school then he turns 11 and then the battle of the summer holiday so I need to plan my weeks.

Our next launch will be Halloween and autumn combined to create one beautiful collection we are calling fall’o’ween 🍂🎃
This will be in July so nice and early last year we did Halloween in July and it worked so bringing autumn early into it.

Then we will have a small floral launch in august 💛 and then to complete the year nice and early and our biggest launch will be Christmas in September giving us lots of turnaround.

This does mean we need to filter out some prints and instead of doing this as I replace them which feedback is you want to buy new and old but can’t at the same time I get this. So I’ll be announcing going soon prints early before new launches so space that out.

I’ve pretty much done the fall’o’ween just some final licensing to sort out 🫶🏻 it’s looking amazing so glad I combined them.

S U N S H I N E ☀️

Sunshine has come back out today which feels nice after a week or two of rain. We have sold so many summer sets this year they are a labour of love as they have so many processes but they are so good for summer and then continue to wear these into autumn and winter as beejamas 🫶🏻

10 years of Lovebee this month. I started when George was about 10 months old and I remember drafting a 9-12 years pair of leggings and I whipped them up before bed I was so excited I put him in them to sleep.

I’d made alot of clothes already, sewing and pattern cutting wasn’t new to me but I’d never touched on children’s wear. This was the most exciting thing I made and I ordered some fox fabric after this I then drafted up a romper and made a sample with the last bit of this green stripe fabric I had I still have both these items in memory boxes.

That was it all I had was two patterns a pair of harem leggings and a romper in 9-12 months I had no plan to draft them bigger until George needed the next size. I ordered more fabric and made more leggings for him and then for his bestie.

We lived on a military camp you do a lot with the wives and get together daily as some may have husbands away and we were all in the same situation so I then started making more and drafting some sizes for older and younger.

My first item I made was June 2016
I started my Etsy page in July 2016
Website followed by the end of that year 💛

Now 10 years later we have a studio in north wales and a team and that tiny baby in 9-12 months is now turning 11 and starting high-school.

When I walk our studio when everyone has gone home and the sun shines in it’s completely silent I actually cannot believe we are here and this is 10 years of hard work. Each rail has taken 10 years to get this full and every machine is paid for with 10 years worth of tears and joy.

I hope we are here for another 10 and more 🫶🏻 it feels like I’ve only just started. Who remembers those Etsy days, those 2 minute sell ourta the baby announcement and house moves you’ve all lived it with us no matter what stage you joined in.

A beautiful 5 star review this week I am always so grateful when I see a notification that someone has left a review.

I appreciate the time you take to help us build a platform where customers can go get to know who and the quality we strive to achieve.

This is exactly what handmade is 🫶🏻 made slowly each stitch and seam is considered, the fabric is incredible and worn by my own children and family and lastly a personal favourite is we are unique 💛 I’ve been building our next collection this week and all I want from is it prints that bring joy, prints that fit into our memories and that represent Lovebee 🐝

First batch of launch orders are coming though manufacturing now and I’ve done all the T-shirts so the next two weeks are going to be busy with packing 🫶🏻

Next week all orders up to launch will be sent that’s all ahead and on track I can’t wait to see you wearing them and the weather should hopefully improve 🤞🏻

S U M M E R ⛵️🌊

Summers coming back so I’ve heard so we are working hard to get your orders to you to enjoy. Boats was a super popular print in the first launch it’s perfect for all ages which is why I think it sold across so many sizes.

We have 3 orders left to send from pre 18th May which is a good feeling. We are then working on a small batch pre launch and then launch orders which are already being cut and some are as far as manufacture now 💛 I’ll keep turnaround as updated as I can so you can judge some summer items being delivered for the sunshine ☀️ we are ahead right now.

Keeping posting simple and I’m sharing some customised t shirts we’ve made the last week. They have been so popular since we started this range to match our prints and I love your choice you’ve picked with colours t shirt and outlines.

Some old some new 💛 we kept soda cans online as I know you may have got some leggings in the sale and want to match and I’m glad we did.
