These are a pair of Reebok x Pharrell Williams ICECREAM Low “Diamond Flavor” sneakers from 2005. Around 21 years old and a proper collector’s piece from a time that helped shaped shoe culture

When you’re working on a pair this old, the aim isn’t to make them look brand new. It’s about cleaning them safely and preserving as much of the original shoe as possible. Because of the age of the materials and graphics, we had to take a much more delicate approach than we would with a modern pair, avoiding damaging the original leather and printed diamond paintwork

Most days we’re cleaning Air Max’s, New Balance, ASICS and everyday trainers, so it was nice to have something a bit different on the shelves. Being trusted with a real collectors item is exactly why we love what we do

Three years ago I started cleaning shoes in my nan’s kitchen. I have to thank my nan for letting me start there because without her, none of this would have happened. Sadly she’s no longer with us, but I owe so much of this journey to her. What started in her kitchen eventually became the business I have today.

At first, I was cleaning family and friends’ shoes for next to nothing, just trying to improve and build a reputation. Every pound I made went straight back into the business. I spent countless hours researching, practicing, making mistakes, learning from them and obsessing over getting better at my craft.

I reached out to local names, took every opportunity I could and focused on improving one pair at a time.

Fast forward to today and what started in my nan’s kitchen has become my full time job. I now have my own shop out of my mates barbers, my own customer base and a business that supports me every day.

There were plenty of times I questioned whether it would work, but consistency beats motivation every single time.

If you’re building something from scratch, keep going. The small steps you take today can turn into something bigger than you ever imagined.

DEFINITELY the worst Adidas Campus pair we have ever had to clean, serious fading, deeply embedded dirt, flat suede and virtually brown laces 🦠

All was needed by us was a standard clean, mink oil to revive the colour back and a deep oxi clean on the laces. All in a days work 🙌🏼

£30 AND WE SAVED THEM FROM THE BIN 🚮
