Why does wool have all these incredible properties? đ
It all comes down to the fibre itself.
Take a closer look at wool fibre compared with a synthetic fibre and the difference is remarkable.
Wool has a naturally complex structure - a protective cuticle, a strong outer layer, a soft cortex and tiny air pockets, all made from natural keratin protein. Those air pockets help trap warmth while still allowing the fibre to breathe.
Synthetic fibres, on the other hand, are simply uniform plastic. No air pockets, no natural insulation and very little breathability.
That's why wool naturally regulates temperature, absorbs moisture while still feeling dry and resists odours. Synthetic fibres are far more likely to trap heat, moisture and smells.
Sometimes the biggest difference is the one you can't see.
Renewable. Breathable. Biodegradable. Natural.
