7 weeks ago I accepted a charity place with MDUK to run the London marathon, then quickly decided I may have bitten off more than I can chew😝 with lack of training and a few knee niggles I was worried that I’d have an epic fail. So am very relieved and pleased to say I completed it yesterday. It is true what they say, London has a magical vibe which definitely kept me going!!
To celebrate my achievement and support my fundraising for MDUK myself and the lovely Katy from Bisous Bridal Boutique are offering a fabulous ‘bride to be’ prize.

So I was tasked with making not one but two prom dresses for my gorgeous girls this summer, Y13 and Y11. Unfortunately Y13 prom was cancelled at the last minute but Y11 went ahead 😊

Sorting through fabrics today and couldn’t resist whipping up a new coat for Monty. It put a smile on my face, not sure he felt the same, but at least he’s now ready for Lymm runners virtual Santa dash 🤣

Was pleased to be able to support Children in need this week by donating my services and creating a waistcoat and trousers to compliment Fred’s Peaky blinders outfit. He definitely looks the part for Children in need ‘dressing up’ day at Lymm high sixth form. Thank you for your donation Julie Fairhurst😘

Finished my week off with a bit of decluttering and organising of my sewing room. Finally got round to labelling my storage boxes (only taken me two years to do it😝)

This week I couldn’t put off making face masks for my own family any longer! Having made plenty of colourful ones for other people I asked them what they wanted and it was a unanimous ‘plain and dark’🙄so I made a few brighter ones as spares anyway😝
