It has been raining almost all day!🫣🌧️
I’m soaking wet and the wind is so strong that I’ve completely given up trying to keep my hair in order! 😅 🌬️
It’s chilly now, yet my heart feels full and warm. 😌❤️🤗
My daughter chose my outfit today, according to her I look younger when I dress like her. 😁 👟
She is right, my children breathe new energy into me. 😌
With them, I feel like I could almost fly! 😉 🦅
Anyway, we’ve visited so many beautiful places but Castle Drogo (The last castle to be built in England) definitely stands out for me. 👌❤️🔥
It was commissioned by wealthy retail entrepreneur Julius Drewe and designed by renowned British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens.
Built between 1911 and 1930 from local granite.
It was designed to look like a medieval fortress but with the comforts of modern life, including electricity and central heating.
Today, it is cared for by the National Trust and is open to visitors.😍👏
