I have a total of 4 nieces and nephews, and their birthdays fall in March, April, May and June 😳😁 In amongst those are two of my own children’s birthdays as well. So we are very much in the thick of Birthday Season right now! Rainbow Baby’s sewing machines are very busy making presents for all these hundreds of children 😂

This is the little hooded dress I made for my youngest niece, Phoebe, who turned 2 at the end of March. I’ve already seen her wearing it and can confirm she looks very cute in it indeed 😁🩷🌈

🌍🌈 Rainbow Baby in Africa 🌈🌍

My mum supports the Warm Baby Project, an organisation that sends clothing and other items to disadvantaged children in Uganda. As well as sponsoring a specific child, we gather items from time to time and send them to be distributed to children in these communities, many of whom live below the poverty line and have virtually nothing.

The kind lady who distributes our donations always takes photos of the children who receive them, and today I was absolutely thrilled to receive these pictures of Ugandan children wearing Rainbow Baby clothes that my own munchkins have outgrown 😍

I so clearly remember making all these items with such love and attention, and then dressing my babies in them. To see them being worn and loved again by such happy, beautiful little people so far away - it fills me with joy 😍❤🥰🌈

My eldest boy Zachary has just finished primary school. 😱 Can you believe it?? When did my big boy get so....well, big?! 😂 In year 6 he was in Rhinoceros Class, so what better gift to make him to mark this milestone than a rhino applique t-shirt 🦏😍 Here he is modeling it today and may I add, looking super cool in this heatwave 😎

My nephew Theo has just turned 7. He loves all things space related and has decided to become an astronaut when he grows up! So naturally Aunty Rainbow Baby had to make him the appropriate t-shirts to inspire him to pursue his dream 😁 🚀 🌙 🌟
.. And that's the last of the birthdays, at least for a little while 🤔 Next, I might find some time to make a few things for my own boys for the summer holidays!
