Morning, I thought I'd do a hello post today as I haven't done one in a while.
Hello I'm Emma, designer, printer, packer, tea maker, washer upperer and everything in between at Emma Bee Designs. I design and hand print to order fun, bright, colourful tops for women and children. Here's a few things you may or may not know about me .....
1) I live in Dorset with these 2 fools, 2 cats and husband (make of that priority order what you will!) We moved here just over 6 years ago and we all love it. The countryside and being so close to the amazing beaches, it's perfect!
2) I've got a degree in textile design. I specialised in printed textiles and basically spent 3 years having fun with paint, inks, bleach and a massive, industrial heat transfer press. My heat press now isn't quite to the same standard but it does the job for your tops!
3) I've always loved colour. When all my school friends were getting black Dr Marten boots, I was the one with cherry red! I didn't enjoy having to wear all black in one of my old jobs, I usually had my nails painted bright or wore green or pink eyeshadow/eyeliner!
4) Bee isn't my surname, it's the initial of my maiden name. There were 2 Emma's at my school and I was always EmmaB.
5) I also work part time in a school office. That's where I am in the week when I'm not cluttering up your feed on here!
6) I love a good murder mystery tv show. Surely we're due a new series of Midsomer Murders soon?
7) I never thought I'd say it but I actually enjoy exercise now. I'm still not a runner though, I can never seem to get past week 4/5 of C25K.
8 ) 7 things about me seems a weird number to stop at so I'm now having to think of something else! Anyone want to hear about my lip balm/product obsession (collection, let's call it a collection!) or how I'm a crazy cat lady and the story of taking my 2 for blood tests last week and they ended up having to be knocked out?
